AUTHOR INFORMATION (DTIP attendance)
FINAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ORAL PRESENTATION
  1. Step 1 - Before the Symposium:
    • • prepare a short bio for the presenter and upload them on the paper submission website
    • • prepare your presentation slides (ppt or pdf format).
  2. The following PPTX oral template can be used for the preparation of the slideshow.
  3. Please be sure to fit within the 20 minutes time slot by preparing a 15 minutes speech.

  1. Step 2 - When leaving to the Symposium:
    • bring a copy of your slides on a flash disk

  1. Step 3 - At the Symposium (during coffee break, just before your session):
    • check for the presence of your slides on the PC and introduce yourself to the session chair

FINAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR POSTER PRESENTATION
  1. Step 1 - Before the Symposium:
    • • prepare a short bio for the presenter and upload them on the paper submission website.
    • • prepare your poster (recommended size A0, 841mm x 1189mm, vertical orientation) and print it,
    • • prepare your poster introduction slides (ppt or pdf format) and upload them on the paper submission website.
  2. The following PPTX poster template can be used for the preparation of the poster.
  3. In the poster session, you will have 5 minutes to present your work using a couple of introductive slides.
  4. The following PPTX template can be used for the preparation of the slideshow.
  5. Please be sure to fit within the five minutes slot by preparing a three to four minutes speech with only three slides including a title one.

  1. Step 2 - When leaving to the Symposium:
    • don’t forget your poster behind the door,
    • bring a copy of your poster introduction slides on a flash disk

  1. Step 3 - At the Symposium (the day your poster will be presented):
    • early in the morning (typically during registration): install your poster in the poster viewing area (ask for help from an Audio-Visual Assistant if necessary).
    • during a coffee break, before your Poster Introduction Session: check for the presence of your slides on the PC and introduce yourself to the session chair
  2. • Please be sure to fit within the 5 minutes time slot by preparing a 4 minutes speech.
    • during the poster viewing session, stay close to your poster, happy face and ready to answer questions…
  3. Please take your poster back with you when leaving the poster room after your session.

INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS (Camera Ready Preparation and Upload)

FINAL PAPER PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION

  1. Step 1 - Prepare your four up to six pages final paper to be IEEE compliant.
    Templates can be found on www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html
  2. Please make sure to use only A4 templates.

  1. Step 2 - Once your final manuscript is ready, go to IEEE pdf-Express website, create an account, upload and verify that your file is IEEE compliant.
  2. On this site you can either test your pdf or generate a pdf using the DTIP ID code: 62575X 

  3. Step 3 - Upload the final paper (pdf file) of your accepted paper, fill-in copyright form and select the presenter.
  4. Connect to the Paper Submission Website and enter the Author section. 
  5. You will find your accepted paper with several possible actions:
  6. Step 3a - Select "Transfer the copyright form". You will be redirected to an IEEE webpage where you and fill-in the copyright transfer form.
  7. Step 3b - When the form is signed, download it to your computer and save a copy.
  8. Step 3c - Select "Upload the copyright form" and upload the copyright transfer form to the submission website.
  9. Step 3d - Select "Upload the camera ready file" and upload your IEEE Xplore compliant pdf.
  10. At that step, you must also "Set the presenter" of your paper and upload a short bio for the Presenter in case of an oral presentation.
    The presenter must also register to the Symposium to allow inclusion of your paper in the final program.
  11. This step must be completed by May, 30th
    Please note that NO time extensions will be granted.
